LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Qualifications-
-
President: must be a rising 12th grader / should have been a ymic member for at least 3 years /should have at least 1 year of leadership experience

Vice-president: must be a rising 11th grader / should have been a ymic member for at least 3 years /should have at least 1 year of leadership experience

Other leadership positions: rising 9th-10th graders / should have been a ymic member for at least 2 years
*All leaders will receive leadership recognition awards.
INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Qualifications- Must be in High School
Students-

Accepting first time and beginner students grade 2 thru 6 from all countries. Must have own instrument. Limited space- first come first serve basis.

Students without their own instrument can apply for a theory course. Because theory students cannot have a concert, they will instead be administered a theory test provided by YMIC.

Interns who complete a 3 years program will receive a diploma
SSL HOURS
Members will earn one SSL hour for every hour volunteered. YMIC is a certifying organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award, which means that upon achievement of required hours, a member can receive presidential recognition along with a personalized certificate. CARNEGIE HALL PERFORMANCE
Through an audition, candidates (regardless of instrument) will be selected to perform at Carnegie Hall (154 W 57th St, New York, NY 10019) on Saturday, October 1, 2022.
