About Us
There are so many calamities going on in the world today. Turn the TV on to any major new station and you will see headlines of natural disasters, acts of terrorism, and genocide. We, the Young Musicians Inspiring Change want to take a stand against these issues and try to make a positive change in the world.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide joy through our music for various types of communities. As a group, we put on seasonal concerts in order to raise money for donations towards different causes/charities. We believe music is a powerful tool that can bring people together and better lives, which is what we strive to do.
Our Achievements
YMIC has donated the money we generated to different charitable organizations, including Charity Water, Manna Food Bank, Global Children Foundation, KEEN Greater DC, UNICEF, American Childhood Cancer Organization, UN World Food Program, and many other local organizations.
